I roll into the parking lot of my local supermarket in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and upon exiting the vehicle am approached by a little old lady clutching her keyfob. "How I open car?" she asks me, in an Eastern European accent, "It no work." She's standing next to a beige Grand Cherokee WK-series, her groceries in her cart nearby.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I take the keyfob and press the buttons. Nothing. "The battery is dead." I say. "But it work for 10 years, I never have problem!" I tell her that it's probably lasted those 10 years but has chosen this moment to die. "So how I open car?" she asks, crestfallen.

"Ah," I say, "the engineers have thought of this situation." I examine the fob closer - it's your standard-issue Chrysler keyfob, one that I've encountered many a time at work. I flip the little switch and extract the emergency key in somewhat dramatic fashion. Her eyes light up. I show her how to re-insert it back into the fob, then open the door for her, using the fob to start it. "Do you have a spare at home? Yes? One that you've never used? Yes? OK, that one's battery is probably still good, use that for now."

"Oh, thank you!" she says, "I certainly picked the right man to ask!"

"Yes you did," I reply, with a smile, "Yes you did."

Where's the part where you took her back to her tiny one-bedroom apartment and made sweet, sweet love to her?

Or is it just me that expects every Oppo story to turn into Penthouse Forum...

I did mention the "old" part, didn't I? She was a nice lady though, and actually was probably pretty hot, like, 50 years ago.

Hey man. Nothing wrong with a little maturity. Some people really dig that stuff. Not myself, of course. But some people.

A week ago a lady came into the gas station I cashier at, I noticed she was driving an brand new Overland Summit.

I complimented it and she said "Oh yes I love we just got it a month ago, it so got so many gadgets. I don't even need a real key." she proudly held up the fob.

I replied. "Oh yeah I used to sell Jeeps if you ever have a question about anything I can probly answer it. One of my favorite things was always the little hidden key."

She looked at me puzzled for a moment. I reached out fob the key and said " here, look at this" Pulled out the key. She had the same reaction as the lady you helped. She was so impressed. Then her said "I'll have to show this off to my husband, he'll think I'm so smart."

It;s moments like this that re-assure me that I got fired from my salesmen job, not because I was a bad salesmen, but because my boss was a ass.

I had to start an elderly lady's Lexus IS once. There was nothing wrong with the car, but it was a push-button, and she either couldn't or didn't know how to start it. Which was odd, as it appeared to be her car.
